Raw material for the preparation of BOC-azide. BOC-azide is a reagent that introduces the protection of BOC amino groups; it can also be used as a reagent for the synthesis of sulfonyl hydrazide and carboxyhydrazine; it is used for palladium-catalyzed cross coupling with vinyl halides. N-tert-butoxycarbonyl-N-alkenyl hydrazine; reagent for solid-phase polypeptide synthesis and optical purity determination of α-aminoaldehyde; can react with aldehydes to form amidines, and amidines can be used as synthetic HIV- 1 Protease inhibitor intermediates.
